Goodbye years-long Chicago Cubs season ticket holder wait list? Well, in truth, you hadn’t necessarily had to wait years for season tickets for quite a while, but now the Cubs are placing your options front and center.
At a new page dedicated to season tickets, the Cubs are offering immediate purchase options not only for full season tickets, but also half-season and 20-game packages. I understand that the Cubs have long held the season ticket holder wait list up as something of a point of pride (and it was, in a way!), but I think it’s perfectly swell that interested fans can much more easily sign up for season tickets, and can do so in full or more limited packages. Consumer behavior is changing, and it would be silly for the Cubs to ignore it.
