DeSales University is a private, Catholic, coeducational, four-year liberal arts university. Founded by the Oblates of Saint Francis de Sales in 1964, this suburban campus is located 50 miles north of Philadelphia and 90 miles southwest of New York City. Student enrollment includes 2,200 undergraduate day and evening students and nearly 800 graduate students. DeSales offers 50 bachelors, 12 masters, two doctoral programs, and 17 undergraduate, 22 graduate and 9 post-master certificates in a wide range of disciplines. The University offers a supportive environment for academic and spiritual growth, and an activities schedule that includes intramural athletic competition as well as intercollegiate teams competing in NCAA Division Ill. Service opportunities abound as well, from one-time projects to ongoing activities, locally and beyond the Lehigh Valley.
